Melanie Mulenga

This extraordinary fusion of soul and pop captures the spirit of Africa. It’s the first full length from Melanie Mulenga, born in Germany and raised in Zambia. Her vocal talent was discovered at the age of 7 by her music teacher, and her music journey began from singing contests in Zambia, progressing to live concerts in Germany. Mulenga’s humanitarian efforts include benefit concerts for Haiti and Water for Africa. Since 2008, she has been composing and singing her own songs and has performed with artists Carmen Brown, Michael Carleton, Allan Reynardo, Livio Volpe, Ben Papst, and Emilio Pavolini (Swave). Mulenga began work on this album after performing at the Summer Jam Roots Center organized by King C Red, and releasing her first single, Amenso.
